My shortlist would be:
Hamilton, Verstappen, Leclerc, Ricciardo, and Gasly. As for my choice... |

I was thinking Leclerc all the way trough, but Hamilton stole it at the end for the drama (and the coolness to bring it home).

Leclerc. Genuinely expected him to drop like a stone but he just didn’t budge. An outstanding weekend all over.
Gasly as well. What a job. Can’t be too long until he gets the nod to look crap in a Red Bull again. Hamilton and Max were obviously different gravy again. |

LeClerc, for overperforming in that under-fundeded underdog of a team.

Hulkenberg surely? He didn't put a foot wrong....
Leclerc for me. That car had no business finishing that high up. The boy done good. |

Leclerc. He's just brilliant.
Real shame for Hülkenberg. He ran Stroll close in Q2, which was a decent showing in the circumstances. |

I voted Verstappen for being the winner of the non-Mercedes race. On reflection, that was a mistake and I should have chosen Leclerc for dragging that dog of a Ferrari to a place the car didn't deserve. Obviously massive kudos to Hamilton and Riciardo too.

I give it to Bottas, just because he pushed Lewis, even if his tyre didn't hold. Massive shame to lose that second

Leclerc gets the nod ahead of Gasly and Ricciardo, decent drives from Russell, Norris, Ocon too.
