MG Question
Is the prominent MG badging on the RML a sign of any $$$ from the MG company, or just an excited private entry wanting to run that particural brand?
I will say that it takes courage or insanity on the hopes that engine would last 24 hours. I wouldn't count on the AER until in a 2:45 race, much less this one. |

It may last a bit longer, andAER are still working on improving the unit.In reality the MG-Lola is not really a reliable car ...with unsolved Alternator and startermotor issues and all sorts of electronic gremlins reoccuring.Dyson is working on improvements since the begiinning but keep changing batteries ,and all sorts of electrical and electronic stuff again and again...
And the RML entry does not sport the Dyson funded modifications...so it may be essentially the car that raced in MG´s works times(it evenis chassis No1,isn´t it?)The Dyson Machine is very much deviated from that sporting very different front suspension (Geometry servoassistance)and AEro.... |
