In the UK the Opel (Vauxhall) Mokka is almost exclusively purchased by elderly people. They find the high seats much easier for entry/exit purposes. The same goes for many vehicles of the SUV/Minivan (MPV) style.
Not what the maker intended, but they don't care if sales are steady. Thanks be to Motabilty schemes and the Disability Living Allowance. |

that Toyota C-hr looks terrible. like some sort of mutant cross between a pontiac aztec and a nissan juke.
and that opel sort of looks like an older model (2012-2015) honda cr-v...which is not a bad thing. basic car and very good for what it is. my dad has a 2012 cr-v and his main compliment is actually about the getting in and out of it. not a bad car to drive though to be honest. so the opel is the winner of this lot (not really doing comparisons though are we?). |

Where did the name SUV or Sports Utility Vehicle come from to describe a slightly raised hatch back or estate car?
To me an SUV, if I had never seen one could be a Holden or Ford ute so popular in Australia with a V8 under the hood and tyres bigger that found on F1 car, or a VW caddy with the under pinnings of a Golf GTi or a slightly detuned Transit Supervan. In other words a utility vehicle that was quicker than your average van or pick up that could still be used to carry goods or used for services. Instead we get a raised hatch back to carry passengers. Last edited by wolfhound; 28 Dec 2016 at 20:19. |

It's ok to me.
The Eclipse Sport is absolutely horrible. Mitsubishi designers can't do any proper thing since the Evo X. |
