[LM24] CAMPING - 24 hour Le Mans 2025

Hi all

1st time here on the forum so please excuse my lack of knowledge.
I am a big F1 fan and was at Zanvoort and Monza this year. Two fantastic races to see Lando win in the McLaren, a team I have followed since the SENNA days. Followed by a FERRARI win at Monza.
What an experience I will never forget.

Anyway
I have a week ticket for LM24h 2025 which I got on resale. The problem is I do not have a camping ticket - non are appearing on the official ACO website.
I am a solo traveller flying from N. Ireland and getting a Train to Gard du Mans along with my small tent arriving on Wednesday evening and departing probably Monday morning or Sunday evening.

Questions;
Is it likely that a camping pitch will go on resale?
Is it possible to pay for my tent (2 man or maybe a 1 man) to be added to an already booked pitch? This is maybe where you fans can help out?
Do ACO release spare pitches?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated
Please let me know 1 way or another as I really want to experience the event from the circuit.

Gordon, me and my mate Matthew have 2 pitches on Houx. You can pitch your tent on our premises. Several 10/10s regulars have adjacent pitches so you will meet them and hang out with them as well. Sent you a pm.

Welcome to the group Gordon.

You should have no problem finding a pitch for a small tent with any of the good members of this forum, the "camping pass" is really only needed for vehicle access.

Houx is a great central campsite for your first time and I am certain Vince and his team will make you welcome.
You will hopefully make some lifelong friends.

I bought a camping ticket off some guys on another forum for my 5th Le Mans in 2005 and we remained together as a team ever since (except 2020!).

as vince said there are quite a few of us ex tertre rouge campers on houx and pretty sure we can fit a small tent in somewhere in amongst the tents and cars. we will have a large gazebo close to the shower block for siting around cooking etc and sheltering from whatever the weather throws at us next year.
