AlamakiRX should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
2wd Rallycross Superprix (5Nations & BTRDA) August 17th Lydden Hill

Should be a strong event with a BIG entry:

Sure I have already said it elsewhere on the forum, but I'll repeat it here, it is good to see cooperation between 5 Nations and the BTRDA.

Fingers crossed for a good entry for this one, should be a decent day of racing.

Some really good numbers there and, although there are a lot of classes, if I read correctly they are grouping like classes together so we should get decent size grids for each race.

Few notable absences (I was hoping for Woloch in Super National and the Crockett cars in retro), but still a lot of good drivers/cars in the mix.

Weather looks good as well!

Thanks for sharing - some great shots as always. Looks like the grid sizes were decent - did the mixing of the classes work well?

Not as many keepers as usual: tried a few different spots and they didn't work!

I thought the larger mixed grids worked well, especially as there seemed to be quite a high casualty rate during the day: I think some of the classes would have been pretty dull if they'd run alone. Some of the best racing I saw during the day wasn't always at the head of the field and was often between cars from different classes.

Retro/Classic and the Crosscar/RX150 were the two standouts of the day for me. Shame that Lee Wood wasn't out for longer, but some fantastic racing between Charlie French and Barry Stewart. Charlie looks very comfortable in his Mk.2 Escort.

I was sceptical about Crosscar at the start (another new class that is going to dilute the driver base), but I'll hold my hands up and say I was wrong: steadily rising numbers and some great action.
