Motormouth to race slot cars
Legendary racer / commentator Leo Nulty will be making an appearance this weekend at the Mondello Park Leinster Trophy meeting.
His choice of vehicle? A Global GT Light, or, as he has previously called them, Scalextric. No information is currently available as to whether Leo plans to control the car from the cockpit, or with a push-button hand control from the pit wall. |

He certainly will!!! I'll have to eat my words as i've been calling them Saclextrics all year !!! Apparently my car isn't the quickest so the plan is to go ten pin bowling. Knock as many over as possible at the first corner. What number Delta is that guys?? Any who can I expect to meet there afterwards??
Actually I was supposed to test today but haven't been able to sneak away just yet so first time out will be in qualifying. Ah well, all good fun I suppose. more later!!! MM |

So you're going to be switching between the racing and the commentating then... good work. I know Marcus Pye does that quite a bit, and I remember Tony Delahunty doing it at Mallory. I think he handed over to Gabriel Clarke, now a reporter on ITV's football coverage, when he was at the wheel.
Anyway - I'm not there on Saturday but see you Sunday! |

Well I'm on the rescue unit all weekend and REALLY, REALLY hope I won't be meeting Mr Mouth in a professional capacity as it would be really hard to "hold the head on" without sniggering.

Aha, that explains it then...
I should be there fairly early on in the morning, flying over on Saturday night as soon as I've finished at Oulton. |
