Italian GT 2021
One of the less known series I’m looking forward to this year is Italian GT. great circuits, 29 cars confirmed so far between sprint and endurance, a nice mix of GT3, GT Cup & GT4, only downside is no English comms. Still a great watch, streamed on this Facebook.

34 cars for the sprint races at Monza this weekend, 16 GT3, supported by 11 GT Cup cars and 7 GT4. Decent mix.
Nice to see predominately Italian cars in GT3, as you see in British GT and ADAC GT Masters with British and German brands respectively. Did anyone find an entry list for the endurance round at Pergusa this weekend? There's a preview article on the series' website, but going by that, there will be scarcely a dozen of cars.

It's bad. Very bad. After the great racing at Monza, I was really looking forward to this one, but I think I'll give it a pass now. What I am wondering is if it's because of the endurance format or because of Pergusa that not more teams are turning up for this one. IIRC, the endurance rounds had somewhat worse fields than the sprint rounds last year, but nothing as bad as this. So I assume that the main problem is Pergusa - all the way down the boot and over to Sicily and not particularly glamorous either. |

It appears the low grid counts was indeed only an endurance issue, or a location issue, as there is 35 cars due for the Misano sprint races this weekend, including 18 GT3's
