Who do you think HRT, DJR et al are going to use as endurance drivers? The ranks are really starting to thin out, as every man and his dog now race in the V8s...

Will Konica guys like Simon Wills, Owen Kelly get the big drives, or will it be a case of Formula Ford and Formula Holden punters once again? Will they bring Win Percy and Charlie O'Brien out of the mothballs for one more fling?

I think Muller & Plato will be on HRT driver list after last year, and Neal has been invited back by Big Kev racing.

As for DJR, they could go for Thompson, and maybe Rydell.

tough one isnt it...Im sure Simon Wills will land a big ride..he deserves it anyway.
No Euro's this year so at least our local talent get a chance this year..hopefully HRT will give Nathan Pretty another chance this year..he did reasonably well last year..so I think HRT will go for Pretty and Wills and young Rick Kelly might get team up with his brother Todd..but thats just guessing.

Nope, Todd Kelly and Murphy will team up there.

It'll be Pretty and Rick Kelly in the other Kmart car

Well i was speaking with Plato and Neal after Bathurst last year and they both said they would be on the shortlist for Bathurst, providing the BTCC doesn't clash.

Ferrier will probably get teamed with Tander.

But the BTCC does clash with Bathurst doesn't it ?

I couldn't tell you how happy I was that Mongoloid Matt Neal was not going to be at the next Bathurst after that incredbily stupid move he pulled on Skaife and Crompton last year.

He actually should be banned from entering the country again let alone a V8 Supercar event.

I think HRT are going to use Wills and Longhurst for the long distance races. Also, I wouldn't mind seeing Will Power get a go in a V8. Is Wakefield going to be running in the endurance races?

Oh yeah...Will Power is a great driver, I'd give him a gig any day, just a shame last year turned to naught after his PI roll.

There is a clash with the BTCC and DTM, so the only Pommy possibly coming would be CLELAND!!.

I really dont think anyone overseas realised how badly Neal/Muller/Plato made gooses out of themselves last year.. Even if you look at the ST Bathurst from 1998, Neal was driving like a moron- someone should tell him that is an endurance race...

Longhurst- It is getting more likely that he will be staying on with Nash, but who can really tell these things?
