Spa Britcar, Hungaroring 12 Hours and Dubai 24 Hours.
I've got quite a full programme planned for this season too, but I don't want to give up on oversteer, skinny tyres and opposite lock. |

The Aston has 420 bhp, paddle shift etc. You can't chuck it around because it just chews up its tyres if you do- you have to be very smooth to get the best out of it. It's a different kind of driving but it's a lot of fun. Like I said, I'm not giving up on historics, mainly because I enjoy going sideways.....

Can I ask a rookie question, please ?
Where do I enter the 6 hour race ? Can somebody please post a link ? Is this something that I could do with my 1971 Porsche 914-6 GT ? Thanks Rudolf |

Beautiful, beautiful, I had one in red once as a road car with all the bells and whistles including HiPo engine 4 on the floor and disc brakes and the fast back looks SOOO much better than the notchback. I actually started to prepare a fast back years ago for the original ASCAR and I had a great shell, I am annoyed I never saw it through, I then started with a notch back and sold that on, silly boy.

tiydee (welsh accent, can you tell?)
only comment would be remove the number plate and put stick on white letters, less weight, less drag and it'll match the roundels for free style tips, ask Zef! |

It doe's look lovely Mark, did you get Sam to fettle out the 'Shark Gills' either side of the rad grill, helps quite a bit with grabbing some extra cooling.

Top of the list is my good mate Bill K, definitely in for Spa (assuming we get an entry but I don't see why not- we've done the race four times now) and all other planned events. After that we'll see.

But wont be legal, (said as a registered number plate supplier ) I'm sure many 6 hour racers loose sleep wondering if their number plates are legally displayed |

Number plates aside,I think some should be thinking in terms of conformity for this year though.

Hope you get in Mark. If so I'm going to watch from the chicane to see how much tramping and tyre smoke comes off the rear wheels.
