Kid Prozac should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Bar

have thought this for a long time now, so thought i'd share it. with regards to BAR's poor form since they have started, has anyone else noticed how tank like their car looks? most of this years, and last years for that matter, look sleek, ie; slim chassis, svelt wings front and rear, very thin airbox cover wasting away to virtually nothing, low rear deck height, and the driver protection is very minimal, or as minimal as the regulations allow. Now wehnyou see pictures of the BAR, especially from th freont it look huge. The engine cover especially, and i dont see what the excuse is cos Jordan have exactly the same engine. I know last year for a fact that their chassis flexed a fair amount, could all this tank like construction be to get some rigigdity into it? if so i would be seriously looking at why the car is so flexy when all the other cars are much more lithe and stiffer.

Also there front wings look so fat, almost as if they are blocking the air from going under the car, cant be good for aerodynamics.

In fact after recent strudying of photos, i believe that this years spec f3000 car is less bulky than the BAR!

hmmm...let's take a look...

It does look very bulky for sure...no where near as curvy as the F2002. Even Arrows, Minardi and Jaguar look as though they have spent more time on the aero kit...

But I think the real reason the car is **** is because of that alleged Honda motor in the back...that thing is like a lead weight - I dunno what's going on over there in Japan, but, gee whiz, someone better start doing something about it...

Honda was suppose to scale back on revs to get improved reliability...that's funny...not really happening is it? Imola will see an improvement...let's wait and see.

As for the car...well the problems with it are gone but unless the decide to built a new car this season (which was rumoured at pitpass.com) we are stuck with it until next year's car. I heard that one before....

Wasn't the designer fired? The car was too heavy last year and flexed quite a bit. I think the chassis and aero development is no better than the engine development at this point in the running.

That's what I meant by the problems with it are gone. I meant the designer and aero dudes left so we are stuck with a slow car.

Valve Bounce has been held in scrutiny for further testing
Can't we just post on the one Honda thread instead of splitting into 3?

Honda should have think twice before entering the F1 again...with a max rev of 17,000..hmm Jordan have done a sensible job with the aero package and they have honda to blame but BAR they are the worst big time...if there's a vote for the most ugliest car...BAR will top the chart.

At reduced revs the max revs are 17400. That is at reduced revs. the BMW is at 17900 or close to 18k. Honda is changing that for imola.
