I only dropped by to wish you all a Happy Christmas, that was all I intended to do. Now look what has happened, it seems you have missed my simple puzzles, and I might have to waste more of my precious time educating the masses (

Yes all of the cars have names starting with the same letter, having worked that out you now have a clue to help solve the puzzle. Need a little help?

It’s blowing a gale here in Cornwall .Got my wet suit but not venturing into the sea at moment . Stuck with Bobs puzzle then. So B is the start of the car names . I will be back on later.

Thanks Gerard, I can not see why it is Beatrice and not Behra, Boro, Bellasi or BRP. Beatrice was not really a manufacturer as the cars were built by FORCE and entered as Lola's, just baffled.

The Hass Lola was referred to as Beatrice-Lola in its day, although I would have accepted BRP or Bellasi.(a one off by Silvio Moser)

Certainly when I saw them in the British Grand Prix at Brands Hatch in 1987(or so) they were Beatrice.

But is was only a bit of fun

I’ve got it - they all begin with B!!

To be fair I had worked out some of them, started with a B unaided, but then could not work out what the question actually was…..does that take me to a lower level of the Stupido club?!

Good Lord, NO 356, take he latest puzzler. An ERA, a Delage together at a VSCC meeting at Silverstone. What could be simpler, yet two of our most prolific contestants (Initials Anonymous) have delved back to 14th century France and put forward scenarios worthy of a Sherlock Holmes plot.

No stick to a simple Google enquiry and you could be the winner. Best of luck, and always remember, its the taking part that counts.

This is the question, Bwill! No worry for the Club your ranking is still very high. But next year you have to enter your car as a pre-B model!!
