absolutely NOT anywhere Arnage to Porsche curves - but like coach Ep says, what are we looking at?
the only place I can think of that has barrier, banking and trees that looks like that is on the inside between Mulsanne and Indianapolis, so possibly where the Indy/Arnage bypass will start?

No the fire didn't reach this area and the circuit. I think these trees are on the left of the track, close to Indianapolis right turn. They will be probably removed for the new road and the roundabout. The 93 years old track design won't be changed anyway.

So they've taken away half of the earth banking. What's their plan? A bigger and higher banking? Anything less would be nonsensical.

Isn't there one year they can just leave the track and it's surroundings alone?

No idea about what they are going to do with great big hole in the banking but the road changes are for road safety reasons. Apparently that junction at Arnage is a popular accident spot.

That is road that takes you towards the crossroad east of monce-en-Berlin. The field behind the tree row, behind the stripped topsoil is the ACO ticketed parking arnage. So I'm guessing the round about is going to be on the left side of that photo.

With the ACO's historical hatred of tree's the local police must have thoughts about who was responsible for the fires, then arrest a local idiot so as to be seen to be doing something. Wonder who will get invites to the christmas party at the ACO this year?
