If you could let us know if you are admitting spectators as I would really enjoy coming to see a hill climb in Wales.

We will admit spectators but it won't be a heavily advertised fact in the first year. There will be some live firing that day, not in the vicinity of the hillclimb, but we need to be fairly careful.

Such a shame will be at Le Mans but fantastic to hear of a hillclimb on Epynt! Good work...

Fancy meeting you here

As has been mentioned before, help from experienced hill climb marshals much appreciated for this first event. We want about 20 experienced marshals to help out so if you're not doing anything better that weekend and want to be there at the beginning of hill climbing on Epynt.

For more information send an email to Martin.Williams at BreconMotorClub dot co dot uk or you can give me a call on on 07899 840310. The sooner we get enough marshals willing to come along the more sleep I'll get in the coming weeks

Of course if you want to compete, get an entry in quick. Someone will be going away from the event having set the first hill record, and with no single seaters there, it could be you!

I may or not be busy that day, but if not I cold be up for this (need to clear it with the Social Secretary). I won't be certain that I'm not needed elsewhere until a few days before, though. Just out of curiosity (since I've only got a vague idea) where exactly is Epynt Hill Climb?

It's about 8miles west of Brecon on the A40. Just past the village of Trecastle you turn onto the Epynt military ranges. It will be sign posted from the A40 on the day.

That's a loooong way for one day (I remember now doing a rally on Epynt ranges many years ago). Any idea what sort of start/finish time you're expecting?

A couple of entries to spice things up are a Darrian GTR and an Audi RS4. Rumours of an entry to come from Welsh legand Bob Fowden in a Subaru.

Apologies for having to remove your forum link, but it's a rule we unfortunately have to enforce.

Please let me have details for the event - sign on times and exact location. There's at least a couple of us hoping to boost your marshalling numbers if we can just manage the transport logistics.

I'll send you something this evening which you can post up. Also I will email maps/directions to those who've already said they're coming along.

Grandslammer, just checked and it seems your email went into my junk mail folder ! My apologies, your help is definitely welcome and a marshals info pack will be on it's way be email this evening.

Cheers!
