Congratulations...its a big responsibility organising over 20 Flag points and the of course the Flaggies have a lot of responsibility with such a fearsome track that has been known to bite. You won't have much time to be climbing the stairs mate.

Yeah Garry has been telling me..... He also told me that its a blimmen long walk around the track - so thats going to be great...

Saturday & Sunday ticket prices are now at www.fosc.com.au but there's no mention of Friday. I can't imagine that they wouldn't allow spectators on Friday, perhaps it's free!?

You know there's a total of 35 flag points around Bathurst? 90% of them are blind where it is mandatory to have at least 1 if not 2 people on each, as well as sector marshalls around the circuit, if you are being the assistant you can be assured you won't be in no tower.

and?? Flag Points can be single manned, IF, you have experienced people who are on the ball...especially those who have an appreciation of where the dangerous stretches are and are particularly mindful.

This time of year i highly doubt you have people experienced enough to run a point on their own, people struggle with 4 on a point during the V8s..
