Misano SBK

Well God is racing again Peter Goddard that is. Benelli has returned to bike racing in almost 30 years and their first run in SBK.

Apart from that, Bayliss had provisional pole, but a mistake on his superpole lap put him 6th. Hodgson took advantage to grab pole, with last year's winner of both races, Troy Corser, in 2nd. Edwards and Bostrom complete the front row.

It appears to this novice looker that Aussie and Ducati is a potent combination.

Go Ducati!

Good rides from Troy Baylis and Ben Bostrom. I was hoping for an Aprilia victory with Troy Corser aboard but it wasn't to be. Not another mid season slump for Corser!

At this rate, Bayliss will win the championship easily. But as this is racing, I doubt it will be that easy.

I hope it isn't a Corser mid-season slump, the bike just didn't seem as well hooked up this year as last.

And the Benelli looked great on the rare occassions it made it to screen (mainly in the pre-race stuff shown by ch10).
