Troy Corser has taken Superpole for tonights race at Misano. He also had the normal pole position, which bodes well for the Aprilia in the race.

Surprisingly, both Chili and Edwards fell in Superpole which means they start 16th and 15th respectively due to their standard qualifying times.

Haga starts second, after not having to go through with his suspension. Fujiwara is 3rd, Borja on the Ducati 4th, Yanagawa 5th, Bayliss 6th. Slight is 8th. Goddard is back on a WSBK Kawasaki replacing Crafar who replaced Lavilla and starts in 7th.

It shall be very good racing, and there is no way I'm going to attempt to predict a winner.

what a strange meeting that was...most of the top guys fell off and guys like Borja and fujiwara and even Bostrom were up the front...good to see Goddard back allthough i guess its not a permanent ride but still good to see him. old Borja was a bit of a loose cannon but he rode well but the ride of the round besides Corser's dominant form would have to have been Ben Bostrom..top effort to be battling with the factory Ducati's.

It's turning into the Troy Show. Corser and Bayliss 1st and 2nd both races.

That was an excellent couple of races. Corser absolutely dominated the weekend and championship leader, Edwards, had a shocker.

Rides of the races have to go to Bostrom (about time we saw his true form), Borja (who knew he had this true form) and Fujiwara (the japanese knew he had this form). You could tell Bostrom has some confidence in the bike, possibly for the first time this year, by the way he was braking sooo late into the corners.

Haga takes the nutcase of the race award for his second race ride, and unfortunate fall...where the unfortunate bit is the dust he left all over the track at the chicane which took out Chili and almost took out Bayliss and Borja among others.

For me the good bit was the racing as I managed to stay awake after listening to Le Mans.
