GTA announces revised point of 2018 SGT sporting regulations.

*GT500 fuel restrictor figure will be changed.
Fuel flow restrictor limitation became more severe when total weight is 50 kg or more.

*GT300 qualifying session will be changed.
Q1 of GT300 is carried out by A/B group separately according to the circuit.

*Formation in rolling start will be stricited.
Immediate acceleration / deceleration before the start line at the time of rolling start will be prohibited.
The green signal is also lit at the start of the GT300 class.

Rn-sports have withdrawn from the series.
Natsu Sakaguchi is the only "new" name on the entry list, confirmed for a 2nd season at Team Mach.
Team Taisan's drivers are still listed as TBD on the official website?

*Old GT3 car can participate in the race in coming two years since EVO model has been released.
*When exchanging two or more tires after the start of the race, you can use dry tires other than marking tires.
*When not equipped with air conditioner, it is mandatory to install and use cool suits system in the race designated by GTA.
*Window wiping and tear-off film peeling are permitted during refueling at the time of pit stop.

I wonder which of the air-con or cooling suit is less weight? That might be part of the team's choice?

Marco Mapelli (Lamborghini Factory Driver) will be racing with JLOC, but the JLOC lineup itself is still unclear. Besides racing in Super GT with JLOC, he will be also racing in Blancpain GT Series Asia.

Hmm. He will be third driver for the JLOC for either #88 or #87 cars , if he races full time in SUPER GT with JLOC , that's impossible due to the clash between SUPER GT Thailand round and BGT Asia Suzuka round .

For anyone with experience of the event: What is the "BQ Area" at Suzuka? It's a slightly more expensive option than a normal general admission ticket.

You can spectate at B-area (1,2 corner) and Q-area (Final chicane) on race day.

I didn't expect the Callaway Corvette will enter the race as well. After 2013, no any Callaway cars racing in Japan.
Also, I thought entrants with JAF-GT cars could be more.

Hi, could anyone with some experience in Japanese racing circuits help me a little bit?

I'm going to Fuji race (rd. 5) with my fiancée in August. The problem is the FSW website is primarily in Japanese so I can't find reliable information how to buy advance tickets. Of course one option is to buy tickets at the gate but I'm not sure is there a limited amount of paddock passes going for sale etc.

And I'd like to buy tickets as directly as I can. Buying from third party sites over the face value is not option at first place.

Shinya Hosokawa also confirmed he won't race with #87 this year.
As you can see on the entrant list of the next testing, #87 lineup consists of Kimiya Sato, Yuya Motojima & Tsubasa Takahashi.
