Lambda seems to one of the team that can't catch a break: some highlights but no sonsistency due to bad luck and technical woes.

Maybe that's the reason why Rodrive switched to Lamborghini...

GT Masters Grand Finale

The most recent 27 car entry list features some "regulars" of the FIA GT Series:

Maxi Buhk, René Rast and Dominik Baumann are not patricipating in Spain. An interesting entry is Phoenix Racing (with Enzo Ide) who seem to preffer racing at Hockenheim (maybe to keep travelling costs down; maybe to state their case against FIA/SRO BoP; maybe ...)

Both races will be broadcasted by kabel1.

Camaro GT3

Hockenheim was a bit difficult for the Camaro with no top ten finishes nor stellar starting spots (being a one-off entry doesn't make it easier).

SaReNi might not have convinced a lot of potential buyerscustomers with that performance. It will be interesting to see if the cheap price und the muscle car image are sufficient to sell those camaros. Hans Reiter is....

Hockenheim is their best result so far. It was the first time they could run the softer tire compound like all other cars used whole season. They used to run a harder tire compound because of their 19inch wheels (all other cars have 18inch wheels). No 19inch soft tire compound where made at the other races. That's why they were at the back of the grid in all other rounds.

They also had damage in the 2nd race at Hockenheim.

Thanks for going into detail with the Camaro's issues (I did not dare to do itbecause I wanted to make my argument as clear as possible).

Tyres and GT Masters are an issue in itself and the Camaro certainly got the worst out of it during this season. And you are right: the new tyre compound produced an improved performance at Hockenheim.
Further more: The deeper you start in the midfield the more difficult it gets to bring your car home undamaged.

But to my mind, the problem still is that customers expect a GT3-car to be right on the spot when they buy it. No matter what tyres you fit, no matter what BoP is applied, no matter what series you race in...
