I've just seen clips of what was going on round the track in the BTCC races on Sunday (I was at the hairpin for most of the day) and frankly I've seen better driving at the Cowdenbeath stock cars.

What Muller and Plato got up to (intentional wrecking by both of them, Muller's shameful move that almost wiped out half the field when he was breaking down) is a disgrace to the series that considers itself to be the pinnacle of British motorsport and what's worse is the fact that the organisers let them continually get away with it. It would be too cynical to suggest it's because the two worst offenders drive for the only two manufacturers in the series but it makes you think.

I've seen a replay, and Plato may have been caught out by Muller going so slowly when he broke down (maybe that was his intention!) and hit Neal. I need to see it again though as it wans't too clear.

what Plato did to Howell was not racing, turning into him on a straight!!! but what comes around goes around and i bet Howell had a huge grin exiting the chicane a few laps later!!!! In BTCC, rubbing yes, deliberate damage, no and should be reprimanded by CoC.
