More "good" news

I have heard that the other Pacific event has already been in question.

Anyone want to bet on it happening ?

Shame the issue came up so late, but who's to say there wasn't someone in the wings planning to drop it in the Panoz lap at just the right time to do the damage?

I certainly hope he perseveres, the market wants this race, I'm sure, and all enthusiasts would want it.

What's With The Frogs Ray?

Ray Bell.

I can understand the Great Whites eating the bottom out of the boat. Or the Tasmanian Devil eating the tires but the race being canceled on count of the Frogs What do they weigh 200 pounds each?

Tassie devils are nocturnal, so only affect night races....

I've no knowledge about these frogs, but the issue is preserving them, not putting their lives or habitat in danger. Extremely important stuff, there's very little other snake food left.

Those frogs are nothing new. They threatened to hold up development of the olympic site when it was initially being built. I don't really see what is so different now? If anything it is not as bad as the olympics were on them (including all the building of stuff).

Says in the linked story that plans were changed to protect them during that phase, things moved etc. Sounds like a billion dollar problem to me... for the sake of a handful of snakefood.
