Fisi is really struggling at the moment with Massa continually being in front of him, you'd think if things don't improve then Fisi could well end up in F1 wilderness.

How about this: Car stalled during two of his pitstops.

And he was thrown off the track in the first turn. These things happen... He will be back... Or I won't

Getting better Inigo!
But I wouldn't place my future here at the forum on Fisi... |

Inigo, you know how I feel, but I am a little worried. This is two races now in which he has been out-qualified and out-paced by a kid who drives like an accident looking for a place to happen.
Fisi needs results soon or his days in F1 are numbered. |

Come on feller. Fissi is dead in the water at the mo and he needs to shape up if he's going to drive a Minardi next year! |

Fisi's third stop was 63 seconds (Massa 30 seconds). During those 2 pit stops, Fisi lost about 55 seconds to Massa. And he finished the race 57 seconds behind Massa ... I don't know how he got through the start, but I would say that on track Fisi had about the same speed as Massa, or possibly a bit faster. |

While Fisi is thinking about the best way to beat Massa...
Massa is just thinking... "Hmmm... all I want to do is to seat in that car and go as fast as I can..." It's working... Massa 2-0. But i think that Fisi will get better in Europe. No doubt. Even compared to Heidfeld, Massa was quite quick in his rookie year... so I'm not surprised he's doing so well this year. |

I'm a Fisi fan and yeah, I was dissappointed with his performance. But I think the person who will be most disappointed is Fisi himself. Because he knows he can do better. Maybe his best is past him? I guess we'll see.
But yeah, doesn't bode well for one of my long standing faves. |

As a former Fisi fan from his karting days...I've come to the conclusion hes been 'on-the-shelf' so long hes now past his 'sell-by-date'...what a waste!

So that's it then, the wheels have fell off the Fisi bandwagon. It's a shame really.

This looks all too similar to Jacques & Jenson 2003... But I hope it's not the same ending for Fisico (and I also hope Jacques will someday be back!)

Ah, I'm not off the bandwagon. But it's not a good start for him is all. He has the skill to beat Massa, I have no doubt. It's all down to him tapping it. We all know Barri can beat Michael, but it's finding it consistantly that is his problem.

I'm not saying he necessarily performed badly, he was just anonymous - you didn't really notice he was in the race.

Buy a ride? He is not a pay driver, so what are you talking about?

At worst he'll probably see out his contract with Sauber. The F1 equivalent of the kiss of death.

Perhaps, but implying he is a pay driver is wrong.
