DV Camcorders - any good?
Esteemed photography boffins can you let me know your opinion of these DV cameras? Im not after anything brilliant, more something to get clips when people are around of them doing stupid things like falling in the river. I am not after re-making Ben Hur with it - I can go the full 230 quid for the top of the range one but are they worth it? Your comments would be appreciated.

well I saw lots of digi cameras at a wedding at the weekend and they all had at least 3.2 million pixels. Is that a minimum does anyone know?

The more pixels you can get for your dosh, generally the better. Not that I've got a digi camera yet.......
 .... but if I was to get one, yes, I would certainly be looking for something in excess of 3 mil.

Ahh this one says 2 million but 3 million with software emulation? is that just some cheap trick that doesnt really work??
