Kevin Procter is now on the list. Great stuff. Lots of Brits to get behind!

i noticed it is the Puma. I guess he don't want to miss the home-event and the focus indeed is not ready so far. Great to see his name on the list. Great guy also! (as most of the drivers are :-) )

Proctor in the Puma ? Can a Supercar be that old ?

Good to see Eriksson and Foust entered.

Seems the rwd class is still struggling for numbers.

A load of recycled cars that were built originally and the odd new build.

11 cars is a bit of a joke to be honest. All well and good to try it, but it seems to me to be a bit of a wite elephant that class.

Lets hope numbers pick up this week.

Copy&Paste as straight link does not work here:
http://argent.fia.com/web/fia-public.nsf/D07C1CE9D5D13CD5C12577F40049E611/$FILE/VéhiculesPlusHomologués2011-4ans_17-11-2010.pdf

Since December 9 2010 the Puma is on the above list for cars with expired homologation (for Puma December 31 2010), but eligible for four more years in international RX. Thereby, a Puma can be used till December 31 2014.

Yeah, it is disappointing. The numbers were up to 20 at the end of last year and the touringcar website states over 25 drivers, so it is a shame to have so few entries. Maybe cars just aren't ready in time, like Sterkins' C30.

Why maybe, Dave? The only ever ERC round I missed at Valkenswaard was the 1973 one, which I saw via AVRO.

I guessed you would attent the ERC round in Valkenswaard, but i didn't know for sure because we didn't have an ERC round for a couple of years now. And as you are getting older.....

The plan is that Scott and Proctor run a Focus each and operate as a 2 car team (for servicing purposes). I think Proctor has eneterd in the Puma as the Focus may not be ready in time after its winter overhaul.

Some cracking racing today in all classes - particularly div1a it has to be said. Also there was no sign of the punctures that plagued the British/Belgian round so maybe something has been done to the circuit? Looking forward to tomorrow now

Holte got a flat Bert in his heat I think after clipping the inside kerb, but I think the flatter second kerb has made it easier.

And loads more guys than usual were jumping the start, seemed a real long hold.

From my viewing today I think the finish line could be a little dangerous, sometimes cars were really coming through the chicane very close to each other and once or twice looked to be really having to check up to avoid accidents.

Great day though, superb drives from Smetana in his heat and Laboulle, Munnish and a few others have really raised their game.

Heikkinen looks the real deal as does Timurzyanov in the C4, Rakmawatsit seemed to suffer with a misfire all day.

Knowles was going much better and Scott was looking fine until the presure seemed to get to him a bit and he made one or two unforced errors.

Best race though was Doran, Eriksson ad Foust, superb, good day, great weather, great people and the little improvements (other than the fiinish which caused a few problems in racing and qually due to the gaps between cars) are creeping up to make Lydden hopefully a round that cant be dropped.

Also, great to see Jenssen and Andersen in their Focis adn Volvo, looked on the pace and quick too. Shame about Bermingrud, and to be fair weho ever expects the President guy to ever turn up at Lydden, every year on the entry, every year never turns up! lol

Well to be fair I do only usually feel the need to comment when something I feel might be wrong, or people have been unfairly treated as fans or something.

If things are right there are plenty of people around to say that! As this forum knows.

Most people on here have an opinion based around what I write, fair enough, but basing your opinion entirely on what one writes under a pseudonym here would be pure folly!
