BillyT should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
UK Formula Ford Zetec RD 1&2

Well looks like an easy win for Joe D'Agostino, won by 14 secs. Disgraceful grid 12 cars.

Not disgraceful... with 13 cars there it was marginally better than it might have been!

Great start to the year for Duncan Tappy - pole for both races but admitted his first-corner error that let D'Agostino through. Tappy then got involved with Jamun team-mate Donnelly, who held second for most of the race with Tappy getting him back near the end. Further back, Steve Roberts did well to hold off Rob Sunderland on his Zetec debut.

Well done to Mackmot and the Mackie Motorsport guys 3rd place in todays race. Which to say there where only 13 cars out was one of the best races of the day.

Well done to the Jamun lot too - I think there's more to come from Tappy this year.

And D'agostino who I thought was clearly the fastest driver of the weekend, just a shame for him that he spun in Race 2. Good for us though.

Its good to see that although the grid is small its very top heavy. I know that there is more to come from Rob, he is quick but needs to work on his racecraft. Both Jamuns are quick and very good at racing, D'Agostino is VERY quick, Fluid could be good before long, Roberts is not bad at all and Baker drove well for a newbie.

Hopefully the championship organisers will come out with news of next season before long and get enough money from Ford or elsewhere to make the championship decent again.

Listening to the commentary on the radio, the race sounded very exciting. Agree Mackmot

yes , coverage was good , i taped it too , Even though the grid was small , it was still 2 quality races ...i really like Charlie Donnelly , he gets so wound up in the car , waving his fists etc . After he crashed out of the festival last year , he stood there kicking the hell out of his car !..

Barry Pomfret should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The accident in the final at the Festival involved Donnelly hitting Ian Pratt on the helmet! Ian was tapped up the rear as he exited Graham Hill, he spun onto the outside of the circuit and Donnelly drove straight into the side of him. Donnelly climbed out of the car and then assaulted Ian who was a totally innocent party. If Donnelly is going to progress he will need to learn to keep his temper under control.
