V8 Supercars Virtual Series 2006/7

V8 SUPERCARS VIRTUAL SERIES 2006/2007

I remember my old Race Driver 2 V8 league, it was popular, but didnt last long because Race Driver 3 had been released... But now, ive got it! And I would like to start a championship. Im not sure about cross-platforms, so Ill need someone to do a lap of Queensland (simple track, so its quite good because most people probably take the same line) on PC, and another on XBox, and another on PS2. You can run HPDC or Championship series cars. The HPDC cars arent as good as the main cars, but its good if you havent got round to doing the Championship Series. Each person would pick a car, and remember, first come, first serve, once a car is picked, its picked and you cant pick it (phew! thats alot of picking..). It will start as soon as I have enough entries. There will be a set calendar, the same as the real calendar, Just different dates, you cant enter on the weekend of an event, it must be during the week. So get your entry in before the Calipsal 500! Each of you must set the race up with laps, pit stops and stuff, then do it. There will be two extra long races at Sandown and Bathurst. You must post entries like this:

YOUR NAME
YOUR TEAM NAME
CAR/REAL LIFE TEAM NAME

And ill take the advantage and pick first

Okay!

Run a V8Supercar Online league for rFactor instead, that could attract more guys (well, it's way better and more real)

Remember guys, the V8 SupercarMod for GTR2 is an illegal conversion from Toca Race Driver 3 (while the V8Factor mod for rFactor was scratch made).

BTW: You should get rFactor. Just some lousy 35 euros and you'll get (for now) F8Factor and the GP79 Classic F1 Mod (and tonnes of other stuff).

okay, I think there is an rFactor leaugue thread up if you want to have a look at that, they are taking suggestions for series.

Right, back on topic. We have 3 entries so far, any more?

It would be run sim for everything, makes it easier for people with not alot of experience to enter, it doesnt matter what AI would be set at because they will have nothing to do with the outcome. And its up to the competitors to set their settings right, because there really is no point cheating, there is nothing to prove, there are no prizes, its just fun, so why spoil the fun?

Ok, 5 entries, looking good! The series will be run evry week with every round in order. And should we do full events? (e.g, at Pukehoe, they run 3 races and at Adelaide, they run 2)

Can we hold off the events 'til I come back from holidays please? Right now I'm in Adelaide (without a PS2) and won't be back until the 20th.

For just now, test anywhere you like, we will wait for Chatters and then we can get this under way at Adelaide. I'll be testing at Bathurst, anyone want a challenge?
