Shame about Chilton having to stop for a tyre change though.

Great racing. Despite the low number of cars many close battles.

Not being cheeky, but why bother looking in the forum then ? And then, why bother even coming near this thread.

For the early season races I avoided the F1 forum altogther, isn't that hard.

Alan Gow before the race said "the series is looking good".

One wonders what colour of glasses he had on.

I would have to agree with you, I saw Plato indicating, slowing down trying to wave Yvan through... Plato noticed his mistake, wanted to correct it yet Yvan refused, why do some drivers act like children behind racing cars?!?

Small field - but exciting racing - unlike the WTCC snorefest in France.

Congratulations to Dan, a triple victory is still very special even if the field is reduced.

They were blue as far as I remember...

Some very entertaining races - despite the low grid level, 99% of the cars there can win races, and I reckon on TV it doesn't look any different to last year when the drivers get battling.

And Tom Chilton showed his erratic side again too..

Good racing at Thruxton today. Dan Eaves drove brilliant particularly in the last race.

Excellent sportsmanship from VX racing and Muller! I dont think. What they did in the last race with Plato was a disgrace and if it wasnt for the fact the BTCC has a small grid the series would be far better off without the arrogance of Vauxhall. I hope TD wipe the floor with them this year.

Very surprised VX havent started whining to Alan Gow about the Integra winning too many races and asking for independents to be banned. Instead of pursuing a personal vendetta against Plato why dont VX and Muller concentrate on trying win races which they arent doing at the minute - Im sure that everyone is getting sick of all the petty antics.

No doubt someone will remind me that what VX did was well within the rules. OK then if a drive through penalty is good enough for Plato, (even when he slowed down acknowlegding his mistake and indicating for Muller to retake him) why then was Muller not black flagged for the oil leak which went on for most of the race? I remember in 2001 at Oulton when Soper was leading in the 406 with a similar problem, Vauxhall whined like mad for it to be black flagged.

Like I say hope TD win this year after the job they have done with the Integra.

All very well, but 11 cars is not a good enough grid to sustain a championship of this stature no matter how good the racing may be. Has Gow named teams or drivers he knows will be joining the championship in the next couple of meetings?

Well done Dan Eaves, overall 3 good races today, it was a shame there was only 11 cars, lets hope for more cars at Brands in a months time and yes Seaney I understand both Lexi will be there.

Should have stood down just opposite the 2nd and 3rd corners of the complex mate! Good view of Chilton trying to drive away not noticing his entire front left wing had collapsed too!

try wearing orange overalls and having to stay with "all the bugs" all day both days
grid was small but as someone else said all of them (perhaps not Kaye ...sorry) are capable of winning. More cars would be good though but face it, we are not going to see what we used to.
Ford Volvo (same company)
Seat VW Skoda Audi (same company)
Vauxhall Opel (same company)
Lexus Toyota.......

get the picture these companies are not going to put teams against themselves. well thats how i see it anyway.
support races were good as well, i have never been a single seater fan but i think both the Renaults and the BMW are good entertaining racing.
