Super Serie and GT : Nogaro is finished ...

THat is done. The first two races of the 2004 french GT championship are over, and the less we can say is that these have been some HUGELY spectacular races, for both the first and the second one. However, each time it is the same car that won, the team VBM Viper GTS-R.

Here the summary of the race of Monday of the WP with Nogaro. If there is which have AB Moteurs and which saw it, that must hugely exciting!!! But there will be full with repeat broadcasts then you still have your chance if you did not see it on line. Unfortunately one cannot say as much Supertourisme of it on SPORT +...

The 206 CC cup and the RC Cup pass on Motorstv. The CLIO Cup and Porsche Will square Cup on AB Moteurs. The next round of Super Series FFSA it is in Lédenon, meadows of Nimes, April 30 at May 2 Come there many!

GT: race of Monday :

From FFSA.ORG: Thévenin-Bornhauser at the Superb top race during which Olivier Thévenin and Patrick Bornhauser assert themselves again in front of Ferrari of Dupard/Goueslard. Bonhauser and Thévenin set out again of Nogaro in solids leaders but the season is announced more open. Category NGT is new gained by Moullin-Traffort/Rabineau whereas out of Cut of France is with the turn of Dedours/Makowiecki to impose itself. In spite of a threatening sky, c?est a true sunbeam qu?offrait the Championship of France FFSA WP to the many witnesses and televiewers followers of Great Tourism. Olivier Thévenin managed to preserve his first position in spite d?une attacks justified of Sebastien Dumez who was itself to take account of Bruno Besson by no means impressed. Thévenin, Dumez and Besson adopted a rate/rhythm endiablé with some lengths d?avance on Zangarelli, Dupuy and Beltoise. Opposed by one limps speeds without 4th report/ratio, Dumez wasted an invaluable time while Dupuy passed by again 3rd while returning in contact with the leaders. The three men rolled thus in concert, with a variation fluctuating according to the latecomers to overflow. All the levels the battle made rage in this first part of race puisqu?aussi well of category NGT qu?en Coupe of France, the explanations were muscular. If Mogan Moullin-Traffort managed to contain Cyril Prunet in delicacy with its nose gear, which was worth d?ailleurs to him an early passage by the stands, the Cut of France s?animait at the rate/rhythm of the goings beyond between Makowiecki, Giroix and the very young Julien Menard. Finally, Makowiecki managed to take the broad one on very happy Menard of its explanation with the ghost Fabien Giroix. To also note the beautiful increase of William David of the last to the 9th position. The sequence of the changes of pilots was going to be marked by two similar incidents. With l?instant where Thévenin went s?engager in the pitlane, Bruno Besson tried l?impossible while trying to pass Viper VBM to l?interior, the two men touched themselves and Besson finished its man?uvre against Saleen of Domenica Dupuy. A few moments later, Anthony Beltoise in the same way harpooned Mathieu Zangarelli, whereas Besson immobilized its Viper in the straight line with the right side torn off by pneumatic l?explosion d?un, direct consequence of l?accrochage with Thévenin and Dupuy. After the passage of relay, Stéphane Lacroix-Wasover pointed then at the head with some lengths d?avance on FIAT, Borhnauser and Blanchemain. Patrick Bornhauser doubled FIAT and Lacroix-Wasover in turn, thus replaçant Viper VBM at the head of the race. Lacroix-Wasover unfortunately carried out a head with tail which made him lose four places with the profit of FIAT, Blanchemain Dupard and Bleynie. Ferrari of Dupard and Viper de Bleynie were going to animate the race end, benefitting from the problems from limps speeds of Blanchemain and d?une precarious handling of FIAT to return in second position. Behind Bornhauser, solid leader, the two men did not n?allaient in démordre, remaining wheels in wheels until in l?ultime turn. Ferrari of Goueslard/Dupard finished finally with the second position in front of Blanchemain/Cayrolle, Bleynie-Lagniez being displaced little after the race for nonconformity of their air box. Two races and two victories for the duet Bornhauser/Thévenin: both orléanais set out again thus of Nogaro at the head of the Championship in front of Moureu/Cayrolle and Dumez/Blanchemain. Category NGT returned again in Rabineau/Moullin-Traffort. As for the Cut of France, displaced the day before, Makowiecki/Dedours took their revenge while l?emportant in front of Ancel/Goubet and Rumpler/Peyroles Olivier Thévenin: "J?ai taken a good departure. My mission consisted in not typing in my gums. J?ai thus be surprised not to make me overflow by my competitors. On the other hand j?ai be even more surprised by the man?uvre of Besson which could have been dramatic. I respect much Bruno but it must learn how to differently manage a race d?endurance and a race of single-seater? Otherwise, we are obviously very happy of our weekend but certainly not surprised d?être in the blow. The season is still very long, all will not occur as well qu?ici. "Patrice Goueslard: "We work on the car and gradually let us include/understand we it. We roll nevertheless with a sword of Damocles above the head because the parts are very expensive and it is to us interdict to make least the touchette. We must find a solution to have grip on the nose gear bus for the moment that does not go at all. The diameter of the tires before n?est not adapted. But we finish the weekend on a positive note with this podium "Fred Makowiecki: "the beginning of race was super with Giroix and Ménard. Then, j?ai taken the broad one and my team-member Fred Dedours set out again in track with more than 40 seconds d?avance. Is our objective this season to gain the Cut which passed to us under the nose in 2001? it will not be simple "

For the full report : don't copy, just post the link of FFSA site (this one is full of french words, difficult to read : transaltion on the net ?).

Just summarize it, if you wish, or point the main events...
