The Stratus still looks pretty after all these years!

Someone's got an interesting colllection of ST cars in New Zealand. Is that the 1992 Carina of Thorkild Thyrring and Julian Bailey in the background?

Yeah, that's odd that Matt Neal's car ended up in NZ, yet it was never raced? Previously, I was under the impression most NZ ST cars were sourced from the ASTC which sourced from various countries?

I wonder why did Brian suddenly sell most or all of his cars? I guess he was always hoping to resell them as collector cars or racecars? Interesting collection from the ad someone earlier provided.

I've only seen it in an Autosport I had a quick glimpse of. Looked at the website, but nothing on it.

If I remember correctly, the stratus campaign was in the hands of PacWest in indianapolis ,unfortunatelly they closed some years ago.

The last of the Volvo S40s has come up for sale as well. Currently it's racing in El Salvador.

Looks a bit odd with the new S40 front on it, and it looks like the back end has been changed too.

Thanks for the info! Is it a circuit series, or a "hillclimb"-type championship that seems to be quite common in the Balkans?

Mainily these cars are on circuit championship, but there is 3-4 cars
on the hillclimb race.
Two Renault Laguna (ex-BTCC) `99 are plan to buy, cars are from
plansmotorsort.soon more information.

The problem on our championship is that we don`t have a real race track

That is ok, a street or city temporary circuit or track is just as cool. "Production based" cars racing on a "production based" city street!

Yes its prety cool, but I don`t like races on roadside
From 2004 our races are mainly on airports, because we have a
few tragedy, one driver is dead and few spectators are hurt.

But now,we have interesting races, but we need a money for
real race track and other stuff.

If you want I could post some pics
