The 98 is in front of 72 on track, not sure of the 563.
So technically that may mean up til 17 cars on the lead lap once 72 takes the lead |

That'll be a penalty for Rast, surely? Tagged the Aston, which has stopped at the bottom of Eau Rouge.

#72 nerfs the #37, Aleshin brings it in with front suspension damage.
Turning into a real race of attrition at the front. Assuming Rast has to serve a penalty, the effective lead battle will be between the #4 and the #20. |

#88 on slicks is now 6-10 seconds a lap slower. It's losing less time than earlier, but still losing time. It has not worked out.

FCY to recover the #17 Huracan.
Edit - #34 & #54 pit, presumably to do their brake changes. |

If this FCY becomes a SC (which it will), it could ruin the chance for some cars to get back on the lead lap as technical pit stops should really be done now.

Interesting, neither the #34 nor the #54 change brakes. BMW still ahead of the Porsche.

Bentley waits under SC to pit, rather than saving time under FCY.
Really guys? Really? |

... shall I call Creventic to get their race crew onto this? That's a huge lead for Rast, and there's still no word on him nerfing Goodwin. |

Well now I bet Rast is given a penalty, plus the 1 minute extra he was gifted.

I hope the teams finally can convince to drop this dreaded FCY - SC procedure.
Even John Watson has to admit this absolutely stinks. SRO is great when it comes to presentation and PR but really screws up the race technical part. |

So, WRT will most likely get away with that, and SRO has a habit of NEVER mentioning its own mistakes. |

I think the 98 in 10th is JUST on the lead lap and no more. I think.

Rast pits.
I think the 88 has moved back to wets at some point. |

Wets have got to be the call for at least the next half-hour, whoever needs to pit after that can risk it if the track is drying quickly enough.
