Rain light tips/hints
Which rain light is best for a saloon with no bumpers? Where's the best place to fit one? (damage wise) Any tips appreciated.

race in a series where the drivers respect that racing is a non-contact sport, then you can fit it where you like

I can't be of much help with regards advice on where to fit your rain light, but don't forget that from 2009 the MSA are introducing a regulation insisting that all rain lights are FIA approved. Just something to think about before you go shopping!! More details here: http://www.msauk.org/site/wbs/news/V...sa&NewsId=4060

I would not fit it at bumper level because thats where most spray is! can you not fit it inside the rear screen ? The wiring run is shorter and there is no chance of getting it damaged.

In addition--Dont forget that IF you chose this area to mount your light, you will need blank off any gaps around it so that you do not get glare across the rear screen or light up the interior of the car. |
