Very Nice.
[cold drinks have been taken] I'm sure I have mentioned it previously, but back in my youth, the ur-Quattro and the cooking Audi Coupes were manly vehicles, even the later S2 models cut the mustard, but the TT was, and is, a bit limp wristed (not that there is any wrong with that). [/Cold Drinks] Any news on engine opts? |

A variant of the 4.2 V8.
Only the rear light styling (saw the pic on a different site) saves it from merely being a stretched TT. Should have some grunt to back up the pedestrian looks. |

Engine availability will be something like a 2.0TDi, 2.0T petrol, 3.2 Petrol, 3.0TDi and (hopefully) the new 4.2 V8 FSI for the S5.
And it's supposed to start at somewhere around £27k. It'll be interesting to see it in the flesh - it's bigger than it looks in the pics I think - closer to A6 size than A4, definitely bigger than a 3 series coupe. According to the rumours etc. At first it was rumoured to be a BMW 6 series rival, but logically to me that would have made it an A7 not an A5... |

Interesting garcon, it looks very similar to the 3-series coupe but with Audi styling cues rather than BMW.

An awful lot of people have said that.
The rear three quarter angle (and rear side window) has a few Merc CLK cues too. So at least Audi know their market! Difficult to tell just from pictures, but it's supposed to be bigger than the 3 series. |

I like it, ...BUT Audi really needs to paint that bar where the number plate sits body coloured, that's what ruins all current model Audis
The rear end looks just as good: and much better than the new M3, which is a bit dissipointing, boring, and well, a little girly-looking http://www.bimmerpost.com/images/mw1.jpg http://www.leftlanenews.com/bmw-m3.html |
