Wanted;Lola 644 uprights
Hi, I am looking for a pair of rear uprights for a Lola FF1600 T644E. Any condition considered.

Hi,
Interesting that you should be looking for rear uprights as I am searching for fronts! Chris Fox at Abbotts Ripton near Huntingdon did have some spares for the older Lolas like this and I wonder if he still has any parts available. If not I guess it will be a case of someone having to make some more, presumably if there are some originals around it would be possible to have some cast, but at what cost? I have two cars, one is a kit at the moment and has been so for some years but I have no spare uprights. There are a number of T644 and T644E cars around so maybe someone has already been down this route? I would be keen to know if you meet with success as my two cars are scheduled to be refurbished this winter and I may be following a similar path. Best regards AC |
