I think - according to a press release - that West-Tec may enter British Formula Three this year in Class B with Lars Viljoen...
He was at the Spanish F3 test this week and the ensuing press release said this... "Former Formula BMW UK racer Lars Viljoen drove the team's other Class B car on the second day of the test, purely as a shakedown, and is expectedto race for the team in British Club F3." Do you reckon that is supposed to say British F3 Club Class or something?? I'm really not sure |

Speed Demon had been testing Formula Renault 2.0 at Zhuhai for ART Motorsports.He says he is not confirmed in Performance but he wants to do BF3, Zandvoort Masters and GP Macau. |

is it any good for him to test in a Formula renault 2000 in an unknown team in a country so far from Europe ???? what is the point?

Seems nonsensical, but any experience is good experience, especially for 'Speed Demon'. He needs all the practice he can get!

Alberto Valerio has been confirmed as the driver of the fourth Carlin Motorsport car. Story here.
Alex Waters is returning to the National Class with Promatecme, and Performance Racing will also have a driver out in that class, thought to be for a driver from the Middle East. ADR are also expected to make an announcement about a National Class driver in the next few days. Michael Devaney is another driver in the frame for the second Mygale seat. |

I suspect that Turvey will end up in Formula Renault. As for Engel, I can't really see him staying in British Formula 3 no moving into European F3 for as I see it the most desirable seats have gone. Therefore, I think he'll attempt to move up the ladder and perhaps try and enter the Renault World Series.

That would be a shame if Turvey has to opt for FR, it will be his 5th season in car racing. Plus he has already raced in FR way back in 2003 winter series. He's proved he could hack it at F3 as well.

Is Estaban Guerreri actually racing this year because a lot of people are saying he is just testing/doing development work on the Mygale? The morning session has finished with Greg Mansell quickest. There is over 30 cars there but some don't seem to have set a lap time in the morning, including Guerreri.
