Bring a good book, or a tin of paint, so you can watch it dry.

Cadwell is a great circuit.

The places to watch may be:
Drifting: The area around the mountain and the clubhouse ('cos that's where they are doing it!!);
Time Attack: Probably the Gooseneck and Mansfield corner (to see how those beasts handle the corners, cambers and elevation changes);
Civic Cup racing: Grandstands in the area of the Mountain.

But by either driving around or walking you can traverse almost all of the circuit, best not to sit in one place all day.

Don't forget to chat with the friendly Cadwell Marshals.

I hope you enjoy your day and come back again soon!

If the weather is bad and you want to watch from your car, Park Straight near the commentators shed, you can see down the valley, exit of Charlies, & Gooseneck, or the high parking area over looking the Mountain, you can see the Start, the Mountain and the cars entering Hall Bends.

peter is that parking grass or tarmac? last thing we want is to get bogged down if it's wet.
what's it like for traffic when leaving and arriving is it relatively easy flowing or will i need to bring a few sudoku's to pass the time?

The parking is grass, I parked overlooking the Mountain at the very wet HSCC meeting and drove off without any problems in a car. At most meetings traffic flows Ok.
