Timor, Jeanney, Foust, Bakkerud... I don't think any of them would be bad bets! Would like to see Petter atop the podium but, as you say, that does seem a big ask when the car is fresh out of the box.

Brit driver I would most like to see do well: Andy Scott.
Brit driver I think is most likely to do well: Liam Doran.

Hickey should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
There's so much quality in the supercars, that picking the semi-finalists is tough enough, let alone the top 3. I'd say that those missing out will be Pat Doran, Ronny Scheveneels, Jos Janssen and then I have no idea. Just looked at the list and couldn't pick one more.

I badly wish that there were more numbers in each category, though. Will reserve judgement til after the weekend. Fingers crossed for drier weather.

Just noticed on rallycross.com that Mats Lysen now has a line through his name, not good if hes out as well as MDK.
Not sure about Solbergs colours, looks like another matt black DS3!

Well on various Rallycross pages on Facebook they linked to there teams website saying that he wouldn't make it due to his car not being finished then half hour after that another link appeared saying they'll be working day and night to see if they can get the car ready in time for Lydden.

Agree awful colour black Dull and dreary! How sponsors like the colour scheme is beyond me. Decent colour scheme that shows off the lines of any car is far better. QBA and his graphics have improved many a car!

To be fair if you look at it it looks like Pats car from last year, colours are similar and the wheel trims with the pink spokes make me think maybe Pats tam have gotten involved to get it finished

Petter has some very clever Rallycross folk within and around his team, how many remember this fellow along with Simon assisting the legend schanche Rolf with his blonde locks was always very visible around the pits and also very vocal

Any word on Pat, Liam or Borseth? They're still '* Subject to confirmation and finalisation of the application dossier'

That rule has gone for good some years ago.

I wonder what sort of entry Portugal will get, MDK will be there and Lysen should be as well. I would imagine Leppihalme will continue, what about Henning? Not totally up to date with Portugese rallycross but im not aware of any really competitive cars. Also read that Jean Luc Pailler will be debuting the teams new 208 there so I would guess about 20 cars again in the supercar catagories.

Hopefully for the locals the other classes will see an increase in numbers but with a WTCC round the same weekend I wouldnt expect that Rene Munnich or Mandie August will be there.

Thanks Barrie, spotted a few comments on Facebook indicating that as well.

Knapicks DS3 isn't a KHM car, is it? I wonder if the car will be handed over to Hansen before Loeb uses it?

Nope, no HM car. I wonder if Citroën Racing is going to pimp up the Knapick DS3, like they did with the 2012 X Games HM DS3 for Loeb.

So stick some Red Bull logos on the side and claim they built it then?

Excuse the double post, but an interesting snippet from Autosport...

...Block expressing interest in the European Rallycross Championship again.
