Seems to have dual nicknames. Big Paws is definitely correct, as witnessed by the graphics on his wings and helmet. Perhaps he has a new party trick?

Ah, no - too busy tryig to find the reason for the paws on the wing, and worth the searching to find that story once I heard it!
I shall have to ask about the bucket, then. |

I could tell you the stories about both. However it's much better if you get Pilbeam Buddy a pint or two

Not if I've got to drink the beer first. And if you're referring to my hat, that's not a ten-gallon one either!
Did we have a topic here once? |

No worries, Mr Crow's sorted that one. Beautifully split there.
Actually, is anyone in hillclimbing ever referred to by their real name? I know who'd referred to by Trigger, Lurch, Fozzy, Rancid, Junior, Big Paws, Woody, Scary and Moose. Jam Strangler was a new one on me the other day (can't begin to imagine from where that derives), and now we find Tom has two nicknames. |

I think Moose is responsible for most of the nicknames flying around

Trigger? I thought Chris was Boycie?
If Lurch is who I think it is.... Jam Strangler? Re-reading the Moose Mail, I'm guessing that's Scott Moran, but I really don't think I want to know why. Is it just me or does it sound vaguely rude? |

yo
guilty i do tend to give out most of the nicknames to various of my fellow competitors and friends unfortunately thats one of my traits.my enterpitation of jam strangler - is lucky i know there other varaitions. but thats mine !!!latest victims from ireland are T.F.R team flintstone racing. the sprint boys aka roy the boy and two mechanics- there new nicknames are bamn bamn, fred, and barney together they make t.f.r . i'll let you work out who is who. also a new nickname was given to a certain well known hillclimb follower his is the scout leader sorry no clues to to his aka but judging by sulking he does not like his new moniker as the saying goes arwelll!! no -one is safe moose although t.f.r decided to call me uncle albert due to the story telling i'mn not that grey am i |

Having been given outside advice, it appears that JS is a personal nick-name of slightly risque origination, best not passed into general use... Moose's post was where I picked it up from, so I'll put it straight back there! |
