I like it and all but I'm confused, is it red + green = 5.9kms?

Ooh, Austria eh? Knows how to get around. Where next, Canary Islands?

Alex K has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Matttt, just an idea, try to do something along Hamptons, I didnt use Google Earth, but Imo you should get nice circuit with enough seat-staduim room along TESCOs, Cygnett, Phorpress, you can also cut Serpentine with shicanes... I really cant see other place in Peterborough to build street circuit.

Nah, it's got to be the slightly peatier double malts. single malt wiskey just doesn't have the right taste IMO. Anyways. back on topic.

Looks good, nice flow, and simple as well. concern for runoff at last green corneer, but that would require more detail and scale.

I wouldn't care if I went to either Scotland or Wales, at least I'd get to go somewhere! I haven't left Geraldton in 4 yrs.

Sorry I went a bit off topic Matt.

I've done an edit of my 11th October track

with flipping the pitlane and adding a short link

ps i've mainly made this change with making it my best track; nicely presented, positive comments and a nice shape.

There is a tunnel place on the long sweeper left of the paddock for access

If anyone could suggest grandstand locations i will be happy to re-edit them on

Apart from the obvious location of the S/F straight, I'd put one on the straight between turns 3 & 4.

Blue area would be grandstands the green fuzzy area would be specific spectator grassy banks. THe rest would have low general access

I'm going to say about 5.5/6 km for the full circuit and the short circuit at about 4km

These are really just guesstimated further from the guess before when i originally posted it

Don't mean to be nit-picky SBF, but I would allow for safety features before putting in that grandstand at the penultimate corner, looks a bit close to the track the way it is.

Mattt asked for suggestions not exact locations.

WHen the image is opened fully you'll see that the grandastand is marked as far away from the track as possible due to the image dimensions.

I have made a special effort for smoothed corners

Its Clockwise, Length - 5 km, longest straight - 1 km , Start finish straight - 0.8 km

Location wise im not sure but there is an elevation drop down to the last hairpin(bottom right)
It looks alot like the paperclip{queensland raceway}

First track for a while

Clockwise i would guess at it being about the 4 km region with the shortcut being about 2.5 km.

For some reason paint botched up the smoothness whilst saving

I plan to do more now and maybe even experimenting with sketchup during the summer

The hairpins have came out slightly tighter than intended

Looking at the short circuit, the first thing that springs to mind is oval with a hairpin.....Mallory Park !!!
Not an exact match but it does jump out.
