Another very attractive shape you came up with! And it sure looks good!
And I'm proud to steal this from SBF: I'd change the race direction, and for one reason: There's a hairpin at the left end of it and a midspeed sweeper at the right end. The hairpin would be a better overtaking spot - something a track cannot have too much Otherwise it's fine. Spacious, no runoff problems, easy to place stands and gravel traps... |

Obvious comment, getting off Banking mid corner (T2) could be tricky, Likewise the penultimate corner in the second version.
Indy with F1 was the exception as it has 4 distinct corners with reduced banking in the "short chutes". As for the previous circuit, Bio is correct in my view, the direction should be reversed, other than that look a fast and flowing circuit. Last edited by ScotsBrutesFan; 4 Jun 2008 at 21:06. |

My attempt was to flatten the middles of the corners out to be more like rockingham but i failed to do that, and it looked shockingly bad

The lengths are still 1.5 miles for the oval and 2.5 miles for the international Here is my track that i made in about the last 5 minutes although the extras are not the best This is also approximately 2.6 miles and goes Clockwise the first corner is a banked corner |

I decided ill have a go at a street circuit
This one is in my home village of Coates The Black bit is the pitlane and runs along a layby the red is the track The blue bits are optional pieces of track to shorten it I dont know the length of the track yet but ill go on google earth later and measure it There is very little of this track that the track needs to be laid for But a few bits will need relaying to improve the quality of the surface The track goes anti-clockwise This would have very little run off in most places but how many street circuits have loads Last edited by mattt; 12 Jun 2008 at 15:52. |

i thought it was going to be a bit longer during the design stage
but then again it is in a fairly small village, i might attempt another root involving the next village aswell |

I noticed one of your tracks was very similar to Rockingham's infield circuit. Was it Rockingham inspired?

This last one is a real eye candy. A perfect venue for drivers of lesser skills. A relatively easy circuit spotted with some much-trickier-than-they-seem corners. A great one.

Better not tell anyone who would potentially race on the track that they have lesser skills eh, Bio. But I do know what you mean by lesser skills, which would probably be someone like me, who crashed a go-kart into a tyre wall in the pitlane! LOL LOL LOL LOL!!
BTW Let's not talk about that little incident again. Bit embarrassing, you see. |

The entry to the corner at the bottom is down a fairly large slope down into it from the right, it would also be slightly tighter than the line suggests. it would be more of a hairpin

TW, crashing onto the tire wall in the pitlane does require some skills! See, not even the F1 drivers can do that

Nice to hear that I'm one up on those F1 drivers huh! Although I don't think there are any tyre walls in pitlanes anymore, am I correct? Maybe in the '50S!
