Welcome!!!

I don't know much about the French Touring Car Championship, but these silhouettes are looking great. You say "newly designed silhouette" but I thought these silhouettes are are already used for some seasons?

Is there an official French Touring Car Championship website?

You are right. The first "silhouette" was developed by SNBE SNOBECK (known as opel team snobeck) for the 2000 french touring cars championship.
In 2000 a classical 406 (gemo sport William David) won the title but in 2001, Jean Philippe Dayraut won the first for a "silhouette" with a BMW built by the famous french team Oreca.
2002 was probably the best season from a long time in the championship because we had both quality quantity and diversity. This year Soheil Ayari won the title with a 406 coupe prepared by Solution f.Nevertheless it was not a succes for Peugeot sport since solution f was not the official Peugeot team.

www.ayari.com

2003 saw the victory of the well-known french driver Christophe Bouchut driving an official seat team snobeck seat toledo.

In France, the championship is known as 2004 Pilot(the main sponsor) french touring car championship.

You can go there to get "official" informations:

http://ffsa.turbo.m6.fr/home_rubrique.php?theme=st

that is the part of the FFSA website for the touring car racing (2004 silhouette Pilot cup)

You can also in one of my two newly opened websites to get links:

http://st2004.site.voila.fr

there is a link page.

Hoping this will help you .

Cheers from Caen, Normandie, France .

PS:Here i will try to keep all of you informed about the news of the championship.

Hmmm, it seems like S2000 is finally becoming the standard touring car format.

If only the FIA could come up with a "standard" silhouette racing concept. Right now, there's V8Star, DTM, French series, Brazilian series, Argentinian TC2000 and South African sihouette series, British SCV8 series? Again, silhouette racing series could really benefit from some sort of joint rules?

From highly reliable sources, the previous Peugeot Sport team in french touring car championship, Solution F, would be in talks with an importator so as to take part in the 2004 championship.

Pescarolo sport will run 3 newly built 406 coupe silhouette in the 2004 french touring car championship for Soheil Ayari, Eric Hélary, and Robin Longéchal.

The calendar will be the following one:

10-12 April Nogaro
30 April-2 May Lédenon
29-31 May Pau
18-20 June Dijon
3-5 September Albi
24-26 September Le Mans
14-15 October Magny-Cours
