Lambo also kept to the left. #29 had enough space on the right.
#62 into the pits and the garage |

I know we're all rolling our eyes because it'll be another giant German brand that wins...but they're REALLY good at enduring these races.
McLarens fell away very quickly, as they always do. The Bentleys fell away and had some terrible strategy. The Astons broke. The Lexus had accidents. Lead Ferraris had issues. Lead Lamborghinis had accidents and incidents. Nissan hasn't really been up there. Honda and Jag aren't really up there (fair enough). McLaren, Bentley, Aston, Lexus, Ferrari and Lambo could've all been in contention for the win but had issues. John: "Well...not for me to have an opinion on things". lmao. |

Another thing is that the Germans have strength in car counts. Compare that to the lone Ferrari or McLaren...

Yeah, I'm quite liking having proper Porsches in Blancpain but it hasn't gone well sadly. Was hoping for a Bentley, Porsche or McLaren win for something different.

This highlights show is longer than a touring car race.

Shame for lexus, no doubts is the gt3 car that mostly improved during this season. Hope one day that toyota will decide to fit that engine in a lmp2 and run in IMSA |

#4 doesn't appear to have an answer for the #99.

Very well done by the #5 to not get stuck in the gravel there.

Just seen a photo of the #666 Lambo after it's crash with the Bentley....
S365 posted a photo of the Bentley and then removed it.... Looks like a head on crash. |

Missed the last few hours and trying to catch up - glad to see everyone involved in accidents yesterday is still in one piece.
Seems the top two BMWs are the top two regardless of strategy; is it the Merc or Audi which is in a 'real' 3rd place? From the speed of the Beemers, seems the others are doing well to stay on the lead lap (safety car assisted no doubt, but still). |

Cheers, so it's a genuine battle on track. So many cars I want to know what happened to...

I guess it makes sense the german cars are very much in control of this race. There was a significant numbers advantage, and not just numbers, but so many strong teams.
I've just woken up however, any chance I can get maybe a 30-45 minute highlights package soon? |

Worth noting that when we went gree, the #29 Audi was 48 seconds off the lead. Now it is 53 seconds off the lead. But, unlike the leader, it had to make its way through most of the field. So that car is really fast. If the #29 can close the gap then I think that's the car that might upset the BMWs at the front.
