blue nose should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Anglesey 23rd May

How many of us are going to Anglesey because if the classes are all put together will we have longer or more races on the Sunday?

Actually if Diz could let me have the list of entrants he cobbled together yesterday that would be very helpful.

Angelesy now starts 26 Alan so i think/hope that all classes will be combined, should make for a better race, all have been very mundane so far in the NW series. Maybe future races should also be combined with a consolation race for non qualifiers, maybe the quality of the racing will improve? some people seem to be getting very excited about not a lot! god help us if someone comes to watch on the basis of what they have read here!
Can't see more than 24 going this sunday, as for longer/more track time....wot do u think!!

Dave I would not mind all the classes put together but more should turn up as it is only a one day meeting as some will not test on the Thursday and Friday I think two races is enough but they should just make them longer.

Alan i think 2 double headers in eight days with £500 in entry fees alone ,was a mistake, Angelsey was always going to suffer, the next one...with a nice gap will be better supported, and not as wet as this w/end!

I agree there should be at least three weeks between races and do you think it will rain this weekend?

I hope it rains. I need to wear the DT jacket jminsh supplied me with. Ever since, the weather has been nice and I don't want to appear ungrateful.

Seriously though, I think far more thought will go into future years calendars.

Scathing comment by younger bro about that nice Steve Jones in the clubff1600 race reports :-
"... before getting the Merlyn's snout ahead as the crested Deer Leap. Minshaw was happy just to be in one piece at the end of it. "I enjoyed it, it's a shame the guy I just managed to beat is obviously a builder by trade because he's very good at blocking. He nearly put me off on about six occasions - but other than that it was okay," he said afterwards.

And last time out somebody compared him to Juicie Brucie Evans. He was proud about that and no doubt will be about this.

I overtook Guy going into Shell, I seemed to cope with the oily track better than him and had a bit of a cushion, he came back at me and I struggled to up the pace. I took up a position on the track which would make him go the long way round, At no time did I move more than once. The only time he got alongside me was on the last lap at Lodge, I left him to do his breaking on the oily bit, I was quite impressed that despite this he had got alongside me and gave him room, he immediately did exactly what I had been doing and adopted a position which made me go to his left. I can see nothing wrong with any of that.
It's a shame Guy didn't voice his feelings to me at the time...you don't make it clear whether Mike or Guy, think I am a danger to myself..
Oh by the way there are some photos of Mike running into me on the BRSCC website... I suppose I should be grateful Guy didn't do the same.

If you had stopped in Parc ferme like everyone else,You would heard everything rather than doing a disapearing act!

Anyway, Sh*t happens - And at the end of the day the best man won - Better luck next time Steve.

1. As I am running the Friday test day, consider that done.
2. I would hope so. Had you paid LMC for the testing as well, or just the race entry?
