2007 Coverage up 71% on last year....and that doesnt include the V8 Magazine style show....thats 71% more racing!!
When there's not a V8 round, you will have the V8 mag show and support categories...Ripper!!

Adelaide looks to be the only place getting shafted with the coverage.

Whilst I am stoked with Saturday coverage, the potential loss of 4 hrs on raceday is worrying.

A couple of points from that lot...

Looks like we'll be early on to the Hume after Winton marcus. The V8's will have to be over by 2:50pm to show the champagne popping before 3.

Same for Oran Park.

What's with the Monday coverage at Eastern Creek? Is that the June long weekend?

I had a look at what footy clashes with the Queensland Round in Adelaide.

Richmond v Port at 2:10pm Melbourne Time. This telecast would normally start at 1:30pm and go to 4:30pm.

The V8 telecast is currently listed as 12:00pm-3:00pm for the Queensland round for all cities bar Adelaide where it is listed as 4:30pm-6:00pm.

Hopefully the section from 12:00-1:30pm is missing and will be added at a later date, so Adelaide doesn't miss out on 90 minutes of coverage.

If this doesn't happen I'll be seeking copies of the Eastern states telecast from Channel 7 for denying South Australians full coverage.

And it looks like Adelaide only gets the Clipsal 500 and Bathurst live.... if we are getting everything else in the same timeslots as everyone else (except for when it is on MUCH later), that means it will be delayed 1/2 hr at least. So no point watching the live timing in front of the telly. Bugger. More coverage is great etc etc etc I'm grateful to 7 for that. But that bugged the absolute crap out of me on 10.... and will continue to bug the crap out of me on 7.

Oh, and btw Peckstar - from all in Adelaide - Bite us.

Take a bow Channel 7.....please provide full coverage to TVNZ like Channel 10 did, and please make the contract say the coverage is UNEDITABLE, so we don't get the same spin about Channel 10 not supplying TVNZ with full coverage.

Due to the lack of posts on this thread, are a few of you busy chewing through a B-Double of Humble Pies??

not now, too scared, but the early timing did not fit in at work, so no trip this year and at this stage the funds are going towards NZ round next year.

I would not be concerned to much with adelaide times just yet, i think more information may come to light over the year,

Half hour is close though, better than lastyear i would be suprised if you didnt get Sandown live.

No, last year everything (except Bathurst and Clipsal 500) that was live in the eastern states, was on 1/2 hr delay here. So same as last year. (Sandown may be different - but it might have been last year too...)

Will Fox Sports have anything to do with V8SC this year?? That was the great thing about the Fox Sports reply's is that you could watch it without as many comm. breaks and they cut out a lot of the waffle that 10 put in there.

Nope. No coverage on Fox Sports this year. VESA wanted too much of increase in revenue than previous deals. If the fans speak out, then it might be reconsidered.

I've had Foxtel for about 4 years and never watched a V8 event on it, so maybe it's not such a bad call by Fox Sports. Stuff Aussie Bernie, spend the money on sports we don't get on free to air!
