Amaroo Park should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Colin Bond & Murray Walker to win Targa Tasmania

I will make a bold prediction that Colin Bond and Murray Walker will win Targa Tasmania. Why may you ask, well wouldn't you drive quickly to get out of the car to stop Murray yelling in your ear

On MW's past record I wouldn't be sure that right meant right and not actually left.

What car are you going to use? Have you considered a tank? I am sure Murray will be at home and you would be much safer! Perhaps not for the citizens of Tasmania though.

Right then! Now straight! Right, then keep a look out for the turn off, which is actually a completely unique turn on this rally, aside from the one we just exited, which is identical. Then left onto Spring Road, which is just past Spring Road. What's that wallaby doing in the road? Well, doesn't matter what he's doing... That's half the stage gone, with half left."

Here's, sadly, an actual quote from Murray!

----

As an introductory piece for a rallysprint race, Murray was put in the Navigator's seat alongside Tony Pond in a Chevette HSR(270 BHP, rwd, and TWITCHY), added an in-car camera, and wired Murray for sound. The result can be deduced by extrapolating his usual excitement and enthusiasm, and adding a large pinch of raw terror! "And there's a 600 foot drop on my left..AND we're doing 120 mph... AND we're approaching a hairpin...OH MY GOD we're going to die..."

I hope Murray realises that Bondy is a bit of a Legend in Australia. While not as popular as Brock he is a far nicer person

Sounds very much like Harry Carpenter alongside Pentti Airikkala in a Chevette as well.

I hear that they will be in a Camry - unless Toyota have managed to stuff some Corolla WRC mechanicals in the thing, it is nothing more than a PR stunt - Bondy has SOLD OUT! At least Brock's Monaro was competitive.
