SEAT Cupra Eurocup

Has anyone heard any news, seen a calendar or heard of any driver signings for this series? It was announced last year, and is meant to support the WTCC this year, but I haven't heard anything since it was announced.

From Spain add Fernando Navarrete. I think drivers like Óscar Nogués or José M. Pérez-Aicart could race too.

Forgot to add, having seen the results now..

Not sure of the points system but with a win and a second it's a pretty safe bet that Oscar Nogues was the highest scorer over the weekend, which means he gets to drive the WTCC Leon at Pau.

Colak seems to be the favourite... 37 points, and he already drove the WTCC car in Oschersleben (and not too bad!).

Murray is a good solid driver, while Nogues was my favourite before the season started - but now the gap seems too big if at least one of Murray/Colak comes through.

Puyo was a bit unlucky, always close to scoring the WTCC-Ride but never made it.

Always remember, one weekend doesn't count, for Colak it's Oschersleben, but Murray/Puyo will lose points they've scored at their worst weekend.

However, I think all the top 10-drivers could play a good role in WTCC-Independent's trophy if they had a full season (hope some find the budget for next year)

Murray has had a weekend where he got pushed off and scored no points so that will be his dropped round, so its 1 point between him and colak, it will be an interesting weekend. I think Murray will do it.
