John B&Q out for further two months

Just spoken to John on the phone - to say he is gutted is an understatement, but he has been told by doctors not to race for at least another two months due to the injuries he sustained at Oulton Park. He is desperate to race this season though, and a third car remains a possibility for the latter part of the season if sponsorship and a place on the starting grid could be found.

Speedworx should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I hope he can race later in the season. Did anyone see the pic in Autosport with a caption about him?

Speedy recovery, John. I guess you'll have no fingernails left by the time you do get back in the car!

Well he did have that accident at Donington at the Old hairpin last year, so better safe than sorry.

John Batchelor should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Thanks everyone! I will be at all the races as team owner........but it's not the same! We worked v.hard all winter and what do I get half a racing lap! Oh well!....that's racing! While I have a minute, I just wanted to say a very BIG thank you to everyone at Thruxton, I think you probably made more noise this time than you have ever done. I know that both Jim and Pete both really appreciated it and are both very very happy at the level of support that you have given them. As the year goes on we want to get everyone more involved with the team, so if anyone has any idea's please let me know. By the way, watch the press over the next few weeks for a possible expansion of the team into other championships! Craig, start organising a bandqsi oversea's travel club! I must also say that if it comes off, it will be IN ADDITION to our efforts in the BTCC next year...watch this space!

What's the pay like for organising travel clubs, John ?

To everyone else, check out John's site - he's kindly giving away some goodies in a free competition
