429CJ should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Arctic Lapland rally

In coming weekend (24.1 - 25.1 to be precise) we'll see, how former F1 champ Mika Häkkinen will steer his Lancer WRC in between snowbanks in the Arctic rally of Lapland. Other intresting names will be JJ Lehto (Jyrki Järvilehto in this event) and Keke Rosberg with Gr.N Mitsubishis. Also interesting entrant is 2002 World Junior Champion Daniel Sola of Spain, also with Gr.N Mitsubishi.

Here are the link to official pages, fully bilingual, finnish and english: www.arcticrally.fi/rally.php

I've followed the link suggested earlier by 429CJ www.arcticrally.fi/rally.php

The stage results pages are in Finnish though and you're after the Yleinen sarja class

Mika is 25 secs behind JJ Lehto (18th and 19th places). Although I recall JJ is driving a group N and Mika a WRC - JJ has done this rally before so is going to be quicker.

Considering he has never raced in rally before, I think Mika should be pleased with his performance. It's all just for fun after all.

In next weekend (22.1 - 25.1) we'll see, how former F1 driver Heikki Kovalainen will steer (MM-Motorsport) Ford Fiesta R5 in between snowbanks in the Arctic rally of Lapland. Other intresting names will be Karl Kruuda (Citroen DS3 R5), Mikko Eskelinen (Ford Fiesta R5), Jarkko Nikara (Mitsubishi Lancer E9) and former ATS Formel 3 Trophy driver Aki Sandberg (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX (CT9A)). Also interesting is 1966 first ever Arctic Lapland Rally winner Kari O. Sohlberg, with Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X.
