It seems that I will become a father again, for 3rd time, but this will not stop my racing.

Aaaaand, there is no reason why John could not get a drink out of me....

Sort of regretting not doing anything about this now, I miss it.

Is it me or are a few grids looking a litte generic, in a U2TC way, seems people only want to enter competitive cars . . . .

I may have to build a Harrington (lottery permitting) that actually goes as well as the Minx etc . . . the index is there for the taking . . . as long as the car gets its HTP in the right group !!!

Depends on the country of origin, perhaps... I wonder if the cut off date for the grids will ever move forward, as seeing the same cars every time will eventually become a bit stale?

It cannot be moved forward as cannot get full grid of G2. Cars.

Whilst he can make 434 cars he is in business and if you go forward you have to lose G1 or merge 3 and 4.

2 & 3 would make more sense, but I say leave it alone

Mike, Harry was in the wrong group, whom ever got the cars HTP done got it in the wrong class, if it had been correct we'd have been in with a shout of the Index, although beating the Saab would have been tight. I did take it up with race control but arguing with French officials who pretend they don't understand English was frustrating. irrelevant now as the cars in the US?

Had a look at the regs today.

Seems Peter Auto is taking things by the scruff of the neck.

It has produced a list of cars E Types, T70'B's,and a few others and set down exactly what is acceptable. Would be surprised if any of the present series cars running in UK organised series conform.

Going to be a long, long Thursday with the scrutes having a field day. It bad enough without them being given this stuff!

Some of them would John! But they aren't competitive/don't get invites to these top dollar events

I presume if a car is found not to comply the entrant doesn't get the substantial entry fee returned!

We have received passes today and may have an odd one available.

Three Talbots in G1,356 in G2,Elite in G3 and Elva in G4.

Will leave Talbots in paddock but the other three cars should move into pit on Friday.

Weather forecasts vary wildly from hot and sunny to cooler and very wet at times - no change there then.

Might be able to make a last minute dash to go again, decide after this weekend if I can get something sorted out. Great event, best wishes to all those going and especially TenTenthers entered.

Maybe a bit selfish, but rain at Le Mans makes for some great photographs. Really looking forward to the weekend. Taking my Jaguar MK2 and hoping to get a gentle lap or two before racing starts.
