And how useless are the rest of them in the middle of the pack. 4 caution periods in 15 laps. Ambrose had it in the bag if it wasn't for all the restarts.

Is it just me or the NASCAR Race Director very Pace-Car Happy?
One car spins, gets back on track and they have a yellow? Huh? Also, why didn't Edwards get pinged for causing that final yellow? Down here, he'd have copped a stop/go for that. |

If you look on Jayski they sometimes post about unnecessary Yellows.

Here, Schenken usually waits to see if the car starts moving, if it does, gets back on track, pulls to the side, trundles back to the pits, we have yellow flags out but not a full-course yellow, the car makes it to the pits. It dies and the racing had been going on as per normal.
If a car sneezes over there it seems that truck is out doing laps? Bizarre! |
