BIRMINGHAM MOTORING FESTIVAL 1970

PEOPLE TEND TO FORGET THAT WELL BEFORE THE BIRMINGHAM GP WE HAD THE BIRMINGHAM MOTORING FESTIVAL.
ELSEWHERE ON THIS GREAT SITE, THERE IS A MENTION, AND ONLY BECAUSE I FOUND SOME BITS N' PIECES IN MY LOFT, AM I MENTIONING IT AGAIN. THIS TIME I HAVE SOME PROGRAMME ADVERTS AND NOTES FROM AN EVENT I COMPETED IN WITH MY MENTOR...ROGER WILLIAMSON.
THIS WAS AN EVENT THAT ROG' WON ( AS USUAL) AND I RETIRED ON LAP 10. NOT THAT I WOULD HAVE GOT NEAR HIM ANYWAY.
THE ITEMS CAN BE SEEN BELOW.
THANKS.
