Silverstone saloon car grids 1964 (I think!)

One for you Gerry (Taylor)! I wonder how many people know (or remember) that we used to have 4X3 grids in those days!

The second one seems to be the International trophy 1965, with the front row from pole being Pierpoint, Baillie (both Mustang), Spence and Sears (Cortina). Great pic!

Frank Correct. Re the second double photograph. You can tell by all the Lotus Cortinas and the two Broadspeed Anglias.
The first photograph has me in the Swish Anglia middle of the second row, I think next to Bill Sheperd's A.40. I shall check my old race notes to try and get the correct date. Certainly not 1964, but much later, as my car is in SWISH paintwork, and that didn't happen until 1971.
Lovely photograph mate, thanks for posting it.

Lots of pictures & Stuff.

Dave, frank, if you go to HISTORIC IMAGE ARCHIVE on Motorsport History, you'll see that I have begun to put some old Race Sheets, and photographs of the era I raced in on those pages. Dave, there is a photograph of a FOUR car front row, taken from an old poster I found in the loft. I guess I am posting all this in the right place....arn't I ??
Perhaps a Mod would advise me if I am not.

I wouldn't have looked for time sheets in the image archive, but now I'll most certainly do! Thanks for the tip.

Perhaps a moderator would advise whether I am right in putting these old results and practice time sheets in the HISTORIC IMAGES section?
